One-Day Study Plan
You can pass the OMVIC exam in a single focused day. Here's a realistic schedule — roughly 6–7 hours of work broken into four blocks with breaks. Follow it top to bottom. Completed chapters get a green check automatically.
Block 1 — Foundations (morning)
~90 minUnderstand who regulates the industry, who must register, and where you're allowed to sell. These chapters anchor everything else.
Block 2 — Contracts & disclosure (late morning)
~120 minThis is the heart of the exam. Master what must be in a contract, what must be disclosed, and when a consumer can rescind.
Block 3 — Protections, money & the law (afternoon)
~120 minWarranties, the Compensation Fund, the Consumer Protection Act, repairs, and the lease-end math. Learn the numbers cold.
Block 4 — Diligence, ethics & final drill (evening)
~120 minOdometers and liens, the Sale of Goods Act, the Code of Ethics, CAMVAP, consignment and branding. Then simulate the exam.
