Privacy Policy

What we collect

We collect information in three ways:

• Account information you give us: name, email address and study goal when you create an account.
• Study activity: chapters completed, quiz and simulator results, flashcard ratings, notes and bookmarks — stored so your progress works. Much of this lives in your browser's local storage.
• Technical data: standard analytics (pages visited, device type, approximate region) via the analytics providers listed in our Cookie Policy, used to improve the product.

How we use it

We use your information to operate your dashboard and progress tracking, send study reminders you've opted into, respond to support requests, and understand which parts of the product help students most. That's it.

What we never do

• Sell or rent your personal information to anyone
• Share your study performance with employers, dealers or OMVIC
• Send marketing email you haven't opted into
• Use your notes or personal content for anything other than showing them back to you

Data retention & deletion

Account data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@omvicace.com — we complete deletions within 30 days. Local-storage data can be cleared instantly from your browser or from the app's Settings page.

Third parties

We use reputable processors for hosting, analytics and (if you purchase) payment processing. Payment card details go directly to the payment processor — we never see or store them. Each processor is bound by its own privacy obligations and ours.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent to optional communications at any time. Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) governs our handling of personal information. Contact us at hello@omvicace.com for any privacy request.
